my fiancee interview was for 8:30 on a Thursday and she arrived at 8 the process went pretty much fast. from the time she entered the embassy she was out by 10:30. However, the co was really giving her a hard time about me not being there and for some strange reason the co wanted to see me.
I went on the following Monday I was asked 3 questions and the visa was granted. I think the co simply wanted to waste my time because I was only asked where I stay when I'm in Guatemala, how many times have I visted, and how long has my fiancee lived in the current city she's in.
also, anyone going through the process in this embassy after your packet leaves the nvc call them to find out your interview date because they set it really fast and they don't inform you. If I didn't call in about the medical info. we would have missed the interview because I receive the packet in the mail on nov. 30 and the interview was dec 8.
over all the Guatemalan embassy the process is very fast there's no packet 3 like many other embassy.
