Review Topic: IR-2 Visa

So initial Appointment: January 6th
DNA Test was done: February 2nd
2nd interview: March 25th (even though initially it was scheduled for MAY but they contacted me and informed me of an earlier slot)
** On second interview I was told they were unable to issues the visa as my dad's Green Card has expired**javascript:emoticon('')

Dad was stuck in Jamaica based on not realizing the card had expired (all in the process of waiting to accompany me back to the states >>> oh well) - anyhoo my petitioner (STEP-MOM) contacted the Embassy and I was given an appointment..

3rd Appointment: August 13th to take in copy of dad's drivers license and copy of stamp in his passport after he went back to the states. And also a new police record.
I was then told I could not be issued the visa as my step mom's salary doesn't cover me anymore. javascript:emoticon('')
So I need to submit a copy of her most recent tax returns and w2 for proof of cohabilitation between my step-mom (petitioner) and dad. And also info on my new affidavit of support.

4th Appointment: October 4th Documents submitted and they took my passport asked me to head to the DHL counter with my little IV ticket

ONE DAY LATER javascript:emoticon('') Contacted by the embassy, they were asking me to take in my new Police Record, Petitioner Tax Returns, and Affidavit of Support Form and documents....I informed the nice lady that I did this already and she went through my file with me on the phone, she hung up and called again stating that she is seeing my police record and my new joint sponsor but the CO is asking that I take in the tax returns as proof of cohabilitation with my Step-mom and dad. (even though confused and after explaining she said she found some tax documents indicating i did take them in as requested).

5th Appointment: October 25th 2011....
I took in tax returns and a lease agreement and I was told my visa would be delivered via DHL since I has already paid when I went to my interview on the 4th of October 2011.javascript:emoticon('')

I received my visa yesterday October 10th 2011.

Thank God
