Hi everyone!
I hope you find this as helpfull as I found other reviews before I had my interview.

*MONDAY*

THE FLIGHT My fiance and I arrived to Juarez via VIVAAEROBUS AT 8:15AM...to be honest, I never heard about this airline before...it is the cheapest option, but I'm pretty sure it is also the most unconfortable too...the seats and the space between them were just too small.

THE HOTEL We took a taxi from the airport to hotel IBIS (I think it took like 15 min). We checked it at the hotel and went straight to the medical clinic. (1 MIN walking). The hotel in my opinion was good.

THE MEDICAL EXAM. I arrived exactly at 9am. There were only 3 people outside the front door waiting to get in. BUT, I didnt know, inside there were probably another 300 doing their tests ...Long story short. I was out by 2:30 and was told to come back at 3:00pm to pick up my results... at 3:15...everyone was still outside waiting to get in and get their results. I asked the security guy at the door until what time the hospital was open, he said "usually we close at 4pm, but today there's so many people that by the time we finish we will probably close at 5" Then I asked him if it was like that everyday...he said "no, usually mondays are like this, the rest of the days are a lot easier"...They let everyone in at 3:30 and as the security guy predicted, I was out by 4:50. If you can, do your MEDICAL any other day but monday.

*TUESDAY*

We had nothing to do, since I had my fingerprints at mexico city the week before the interview. The ASC was actually really simple it took me probably 10 min. We spent the day at the mall (it is like 5 min walking). There's movies, a lot of stores and food, like in any other mall.

*WEDNESDAY*

INTERVIEW. To be honest, I know everyone writes the same thing...but it is true!: everyone at the consulate is really really nice. My appointment was at 7:15. I only took with me all my DOCS and proofs, remember they dont allow cellphones. At 7:05 I left my hotel and walked to the "sala de espera", they checked my docs, put a stamp on one of them and sent me to the consulate. At the consulate they'll guide you though the whole process STEP BY STEP. (Make a line, DOCS checkup 1, pass through security, DOCS checkup 2 (here they'll take some DOCS and give you a number to follow the process), Waiting room with Screens outside (Here you wait for your number to appear, the screen shows the number given to you and the window you have to go to), Final DOCS pickup, wait again for your number to appear at the screens, INTERVIEW!!! The whole process went very smooth and I was out approved in 2 hours, by 9:15.
At the interview, the consul began talking to me in spanish, she was very nice and polite. After I swore to tell the truth, she asked me some questions:who is asking for you? where does he lives? Tell me about your relationship (she was reading what my fiance wrote about how we met and everyghing), then, she asked me if I speak english, I said yes, and she continue the interview in english. She asked for my B1/B2 VISA and asked if we had any kids, if I had any problem with police or immigration, and finally, she said, "well that's it, congratulations your visa is approved! Since it is wednesday, I donk think you'll get it this week, but you should get it by tuesday".

DHL WAYBILL

We flew back to mexico city and spent there a week with my family while we were waiting for the visa to arrive. By monday (4 days after the interview) I checked the website to see if my DHL waybill was ready....but nothing.....tuesday morning I checked again...nothing....so I called juarez consulate and they told me, to call in a week because they had no record of dhl, which ment probably the visa wasnt been sent yet.... I was super sad because I wanted to go with my fiance, and he was going on sunday....so that afternoon he called again....this time it was worse...they said to wait 3 weeks!!!! So, by advise of someone on visajourney, we went straight to the DHL we selected and asked about our visa, the girl at dhl asked my full name and said "we keep the visas separatly from other packages, let me see if its there"....it was there! We picked it up and couldnt believe all the stressed we felt that day because what they tolds us when we called the consulate and the website that didnt showed anything untill thrursday!!! The visa got to the DHL 6 days after my interview, like the counsul said. So, if you can, 6 days after your interview, go to your DHL maybe it will be there!

That same week we came to the US together. Everyghing went really smooth and fast at the point of entry. Good luck everyone!!!javascript:emoticon('')
