Approved!! The process is smooth if you have all required documentation. here is how it goes:
My interview was at 8:30 AM. There were about 5-6 other people for the same timeslot. I was the only non-chinese btw 
1. They call you to the counter initially and take your documents like passport etc.
2. The mounted TV on the wall will show you a video of how to do fingerprinting.
3. You are called to one of the windows again. this time for fingerprinting.
4. Now you wait.......
5. You are called again to the counter and a chinese lady does a pre-interview before it goes to the consular officer. She asked me the following qustions:
- who filed this petition for you ?
- What is your name, your wife name
- How did you meet ? Where does she live right now ?
- i stayed in US before. She asked me lot of questions about my previous sta such as what i did, where i stayed etc.
6. Now you go back and wait......
7. Consular officer calls you finally at one of the windows. He asked me similar questions like how I met my wife etc? hardly 2 mins and he is happy!! I am approved.
next steps: You go 1 floor down to the post office window #10 and pay HKD $25 for courier. they will mail your passport with the visa within 2-3 days.
