My Husband had his interview on October 6, 2011. I got to attend the interview with him. We were about an hour late, arrived at 9:30 but it didnt make a difference. My husband got his fingerprinting done then we waited in the outside waiting hall. then they called his name and a female CO asked for the medical exam results and passport, then we went and sat in the waiting hall again. we were the last people in the embassy when my husband was called for his interview at 2pm. The CO was nice old man who asked what i did in america, if we had a love marriage or arranged marriage, how many brothers/sisters did my husband have, and if my husband had visited any other countries. he then asked to see photographs of our wedding and skimmed through those and pointed at random people in the pictures and asked my husband who they were. After the interview the CO took out a green sheet and my heart dropped because I knew he was being put on AP. The CO said it could take anywhere from 1 month to 5/6 months, and maximum 2 years. I then asked the CO what the average time was for AP, and he said a 50% of the cases are done in a little over a month, and a majority of all AP cases are done by 5 months. I just pray InshAllah that my husbands AP doesnt take long at all so he can be with me soon.

overall the interview probably lasted less than 5 minutes and went well. the CO's were very nice and professional.
