We had a 1:00pm appointment for the interview. My Fiance was told by our law firm ‘mythaifiancee’ to arrive at 07:00am to drop off the paperwork. This was a hassle and I wound up putting her up in a hotel close to the Embassy so she could go back and rest after dropping it off.
The benefit of this though was that she was first up at 1:00pm. The lady that interviewed here smiled and was very friendly. She spoke softly and my fiancé did have a difficult time understanding her on several questions. When she did not hear clearly the interviewer repeated in Thai and my fiancé answered in English.
Some of the questions:
What is your fiancé’s name
where does he live?
How many times has he visited you
What do your parents think of him?
Have you ever spoken to his parents?
Does he have any siblings? (my fiancé did not know this word, but when she explained in Thai my fiance answered correctly)
That’s all I have for now. The interview only took 10 minutes, the interviewer did speak Thai a few times, but my fiancé answered in English and she picked up her visa 2 days later. I will be flying out soon to bring her home!
