On the day of the interview I was refused entry into the embassy by the guards. Eventually when my husband came out of the embassy he wasn't smiling as I expected. So, that meant as I would soon discover that there in my husband's possession was a yellow sheet that indicated that there was more info that was required. After waiting nearly almost TWO years for the filing process, the CO/embassy needed more info? That information, unfortunately for us,was not something that we had readily available. So, that meant having to request the information from the IRS and having to wait another month to return the tax transcripts. To add fuel to the fire, I went to the embassy the next day after interview to inquire and was abruptly told that whatever the CO requested we needed to bring w/o question. Yes, we understood that point, but the point I made was that the interview appt. letter should have stated all the required items and certainly we could have gotten the info prior to the date. Overall, the experience has been an eye-opener. We are hoping that when hubby returns the info that we are approved and the visa will be issued. This process has been draining and at this point in the game I am ready for hubby and I to start our lives together.
