I had my interview today Sept 29th at the Paris consulate.
I arrived early, appointment was at 1pm I passed the gate at 12:44.
Almost nobody in there, you enter a woman gives you a ticket.
You wait until your number is called and a first person at a booth checks your appointment letter and number and tells you to wait again.
Your number is called again and this time the person checks that all your papers are all right.
Again you wait and are called a third time to see another person for the interview.
The person that I had was a nice smiling very friendly woman.
We started the interview in french and then finished in english. She asked me a bunch of usual and expected questions; where did ya meet? does your fiancé works? did you meet his family? has he met yours? when do you plan to come and when do you get married? did you find ajob in the us? thats pretty much it.
I had brought tons of evidences of our relationship but we had obviously already put so many with the petition that she didnt ask for more.
She said we were approved and that i should receive my visa in about ten days.
I went out at 2:30 pm the sun was shining and i called my fiancé who couldnt sleep until he would hear from it. Thats it!
I must have been lucky because i barely waited and everyone was friendly to me from the security guards to the embassy people.
