We got to the consulate about 5Am. We had stayed at my grandmom house in boca
chica. There were ppl there already, but line was not long. The infamous Buscones were already there telling ppl to fill out forms (The only thing we did use them for was for parking. ugh hard finding parking). Everything was very organize. It was not that hot. Wee were first call to window 19 and gave our paperwork such as his cedula, police cert and then ugh, by mistake we brought wrong birth certificate. We left the inextensa home (both his and his son). We sat down and then window 12 to pay the visa. Then 13 for finger print and then we waited. We were call to window 22. We were sworn in.( I saw the green little paper and I knew we were approve). We gave the rest of the documents and they had him signed the papers. We got nervous when they separate us. My fiance was asked
*How and when we met? When we saw in person? Our first kiss, where and time of day? Who propose and when it was and where and time of day? My parents name and age and my brothers names and ages? What were our wedding plans? What type of car I drove. Where did I work? If I own or rented? They ask him abt who was paying for wedding? who was constributing more? My fiance made the consulate smile bc when he ask him if he was staying with me when he came, my fiance responded that he told him already that we were christians and until we were marry nothing was going to happen.(they had previously ask about intimacy.(So estamos en dieta. lol)

I was ask the same questions. I was ask what was the name of his son's mom? where she work? What we did not know we said we did not know. My fiance thinks that he was there for 20 minutes, but it was not the long. The man who interview us was very pleasant and professional. We were ask questions that couples should know about each other. It was not long at all. We were just nervous and thought it took long. We were given the gree 221G form and told to return with both inextensa birth certificate (make sure that even if the k-2 is a follow to join have it legalize). We came out at 10:00 AM and got the documents, but when we got to the consulate at 12:48 PM. We were told that we had to return the next day (AWWW this is after I had ask the consulate if we could bring this in the same day).

We decided not to stay in the city, but return to Nagua. This morning we got to the capital at 5:30 and we waited until about 7:00 PM when they started checking the documents. Went to window 26 to give the documents. She said ok your passport will be given in 3 weeks. (of course we are going to call on monday to check status lol) I told her we have not pay domex. She gave us the green little paper, we finally breathe, paid domex, return to window 26 and showed receipt. we were out of there by 8:00 AM. (The consulate was closed today. They close every last wednesday of month)Now to plan a wedding. Thank you Lord.
