My visa interview was scheduled at 7.30 in the morning. They generally take you in 15 minutes prior to the time. I had to go thorough an initial security check at the gate. Please donot carry any food items or water,the consulate is equipped with a cafe. I was then guided to a window for fingerprinting and further asked to wait.
After about 5 mins I was called by an Indian officer. She took my passport handed back some documents and asked me a couple of questions

Who is calling you?
When did you last meet?
Have you ever tried to migrate to the US?
I was later asked to wait. THe Immigration Officer called me in another hour and half. Greeted me with a big smile which was a booster enough for my spirits. I was asked to sign the DS-230 Part II and take an oath. After which she asked me a couple of questions...
Was yours a love marriage or arranged?
Where did you meet?
Which college did you go to?
Which college did your husband go to?
When did you get married?
Can i see some photos?
When did you last meet?
Where was the wedding?
How many people attended the wedding?
Where did you go for honeymoon?
Why did you not go for honeymoon?
Where is your husband right now?
Does he live alone ?
How long has he been in the US?
Did you do all the rituals for the wedding?
How many times did you walk around the fire?
Whats your husbands job profile?
How long does has he been working here?
Have you ever tried to migrate to the US?
Have you ever made an attempt?
Where are your husbands parents?
Has he not filed for their immigration?
Don’t they want to go to US?

I had compiled two photo albums one of our wedding and the other one of our pictures since school(we know each other since school). She took a long look at them, occassionally having a word with the fellow indian officer. Finally after being through the pictures a couple of times they said looks good and i was informed that my Passport will arrive in 3 days time.
