Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | Review on August 23, 2011: | Robert Glauceine
Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
The interview was today. I Just received the much awaited phone call. The visa was approved. No words to explain the relief we both feel.
I was anxious to hear the details of the interview. Glauceine told me the interview was very short. I'll post the information I have now and when Glauciene and I talk tonight when she arrives back home, we'll talk and I'll post the remaining details. Once in the interview. Glauciene was asked where we met. (Brazilcupid) He looked at the few pictures that we took together on my 2 visits to Brazil.
He then asked her how long she had been alonne. Answer: 6 years. His next response was, well I believe you can have your visa. Good Luck! Glauceine said that she was so surprised she asked 2 more times before she got up from the chair. After she stood, she was starting to walk away and turned to the officer and asked agin, you're sure my visa is ok. The officer smiled and said again, yes you have your visa.
So, to summerize, the interview experience was very similar to the many experiencs I have read over and over on visa journey.
I remember many visits to the blogs seeking some type of security in the experiences of others. I have to say that the members that took the time to share thier experience, helped me considerably. I want to thank all of you. For those that are in this process, as difficult and trying as it is, have all the necessary documents and somehow try to be patient. Not just with the process, but more important, with each other, during these stressful and difficult times.
Many thanks for all the support.
