My appointment was on August 15, 2011 for AOS/AP biometrics. My husband and I got there half an hour early (they open at 8:00). Even if they were not open yet, a lady walked out and gave me a form so I could start ahead and save that time once they would be open. You will require to have your applications and alien # on hand (AOS/EAD/AP) to complete the form. Rest is very basic : name, height, weight, eye and hair color, etc.
Once they opened, we walked in with a bunch of other people who had gathered by the door. The security guard was friendly, asked to see my appointment letter and passport. We were assigned #1 and few seconds later I was called and went to a booth where a lady asked for my passport. She fingerprinted me on a scanner, took a photograph and had me sign on a digital pad. I was out no more than 10 minutes later. Staff is very efficient and friendly.
