The Hotel: I had a 7:30 am appointment - I stayed at the western hotel ca. 10min walk to entry of the consulate. I paid 58 EUR for one night. Very helpful, friendly staff and a great relaxing hotel (even had coffee to go in the morning :D ) It good place at which you can leave all your accessories that are not allowed in the consulate. Check out time was at 12:00.
Entrance US Consulate at 7:30: I checked in at the front (immigrant lines, first window): the officer needed my passport and my appointment letter.
Security: He handed me my number and send me over to Security. Security was very quick since I had nothing on me except of my paperwork and umbrella which I had to leave with the security to pick up later.
VISA Building: In the next building I checked in with another front desk clerk that I had to show my number that I received at POE and he told me what side to sit down and that I needed to wait until the number got called. In the building you can buy more coffee, stamps, passport pictures and snacks.
INTERVIEW STAGE 1
Every K1 applicant got called according to the number received at the point of entry to window 23 paperwork that I needed were:
-passport
-two us-passport picture (they should not have scratches or been attached by an office clip to an paper since it destroys the surface and then they have trouble with the machine cluing it into the passport)(I had four on me so she choose the \"best\" ones).
- the proof (receive) that I paid my visa fees
I received from her a paper stating how to organize my paperwork and that I had to wait until my number was called again and also that it was not anymore arranged in the order who comes first serves first (other people arrived after me were helped before me)
Arrange paper work for stage 2:

After a while I was called to the window the woman went over my ds156 and asked for the paperwork accordingly to the order above. I had the tax returns from the last 3 years with me she only wanted the most recent one.I had to put the stamp and my adress on the envelope. Afterwards she gave me the hole marrying within 90 days, POE, AOS, etc.
INTERVIEW STAGE 3:
Paperwork needed Proof of relationship:
-photos

She took my fingerprints & oath. Well she barely asked me anything she only wanted to know if I know where he currently is, if he and I knew each other’s parents, where does he work and if he has siblings. When do we going to get married? I ask her if she likes to see pix or other proof she said no I only like to see it if I have doubts for you good luck you will receive your visa within 10-14 days @ 9.20am: yeahhhhhhhhhh!
