Appointment was early, 7:20AM. Arrived within 15 minutes of the appointment, based upon reading previous reviews. Definitely helped to read the other reviews to see where the office is located. I'll recap them so others can benefit:
Get off I-10 @ 7th Street and turn north onto 7th St. Turn left on McDowell and then right on Central Ave. Turn left on Earll Dr into the parking plaza. Turn left at the end of the drive towards Starbucks & the Good Egg, then turn right at Starbucks, head back to the end of the lot and you'll see the office on the right. (Last office door on the right.) Go inside and take the elevator to the second floor.
The entry area is small, so if it's crowded the officers may ask you to go back downstairs for a minute. As others have said, the officers are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Interview was about 45 minutes after we arrived due to the fact that there were four of us applying for AOS. (My wife and three kids.) Interview was very matter of fact, professional and quick. We were on our way in about twenty minutes with our approval letters in hand! javascript:emoticon(' ')
