My advice for you all is: stay calm! I know we get nervous and everything but this final lap is really smooth! We got at the US embassy around 5:30, first ones in line and most people started arriving at 6:00, at 7:15 a lady came outside and checked our names and pictures (make sure you show both ears and no piercings including big earrings). After a while the guard told us to go inside and we were told to go upstairs, there the same laid who checked the pictures outside handled us a paper to fill with your personal information and your fiance's information and a list with the order the documents should be placed and handled back to her (one hint: wait to sign the forms there because some you may sign in front of the consul), so after checking the paperwork order we waited like 15 min till they called us in a room where another lady checked all the forms and the info on it, then we were told to wait for the consul to call us and this is what took the longest...it doesn't matter if you were the first in line, the consul calls your number according to the order it appears on his system and it's random, we were the 4th to be called (we prob waited around 30 minutes) and our interview was pretty fast and smooth, the consul, a young black man, was really nice! He asked pretty much how and when we met, if my fiance is still on the military and where is he stationed and if we were planning on living there, then he said we were approved and we should go downstairs and pay the delivery fee! javascript:emoticon('') I wish you all the best of luck!
