We got there around 7:15am and waited in line outside until about 7:30. They wanted to see our interview letter before they would even let us in the door. Once we showed the security guard our letter we waited to go through security. It was like going through security at the airport. We then went down the stairs and waited about 15 mniutes. There was a photo booth there incase you forget your pictures!!! We then crammed ourselves in the elevator and went up the 19th floor. Once we got out of the elevator we got in line and got a number. We sat down and waited for our number to appear on the screen. When our number was called we went back and they asked for the beneficary's passport, the 2 pictures and the medical results and also wanted a DS-230 filled out which I already had done . We were then asked to go sit down and wait to be called again. We waited about 30 min and out number was called again. This time they asked for the AOS, police check, marriage certificate and beneficary's long form birth certificate. We were then asked to go sit down again and wait. This time we waited about 2.5 hours. When we finally got called in for the actual interview they only asked us a few questions like How you guys met? When did you get married? Has anyone ever had problems at the border? They also asked to see my US passport. We also had to explain our story very briefly. We were in and out of the interview in about 10-15min. She told us we were approved and how and when to expect my husbands passport from DHL.
The passport was ready for pick-up 3 days later, we entered into the US 8 days after the interview.
