Dear Fellow VJ Members:
We prepared for our interview based on the information made available from VJ and can vouch that this was 100% accurate and helpful. BTW, we had hired the most expensive attorney earlier whose service was truly pathetic, we had to guide them based on the information gained from VJ.
Key things to note for your interview:
1) Arrive early, relax and stay cool
2) Get all the necessary documents and please keep them well organized. No big bags, belts, electronic devices etc.
3) Stay cool, Montreal consulate has perhaps the best officers, , they like simple cases with well organized supporting documents.
4) Be honest and this will give you the necessary confidence
5) The questions posed are simple and answer it honestly and keep it crisp
6) Some of the questions that they asked us were
a) how we met?
b) Where sponsor worked ? what he did for living?
c) Traveled to US? did u have problem at the border? if so, what happened?
In net our experience was fantastic and did not even realize the interview was over. It took a very long time for the fact to sync that we crossed a critical milestone. Now we are awaiting for the passport with the visa afixed so that we can plan for the last segment
Good Luck Fellow VJ Members
