My Fiance said he went it and showed the Moroccan woman all his papers. She did not say hello or even great him. She looked at the papers and said your fiancee doesn't make enough money you need someone to co sign. He told her we talked to them about this on a form and was told we didn't, emailed them and was told we didn't and reconfirmed this again on the phone when they called him. She told him it was none of her business but thats the rule. Then she asked where I was and he told her she's waiting for me. She said where and he said out side we live together. Then she ask him if he spoke english and he said a little but Im not fluent by any means. She said just say yes or no. Then she told him to go sit down.
He waited tell one of the CO called him over it. It was a lady she asked him how his english was. He said its alright I understand you. She said good. Then she gave him a pice of paper and told him to write his name and my name on the paper and sign it. Then told him to hold up his hand and swear all the information he was about to give her was true. She told him to repeat after her and started making the statement. He asked for a translator because she told him to repeat the guy goes just say i swear. He then said oh ok. I swear.
then the questions:
where will your wedding be?
Where did you meet her?
Then the ladies computer got stuck and told him it will be fine don't worry. And had him sit down tell another post was free.
She tried to switch but the computer still wouldn't work for her. She said sorry again and said soon we will get to you. Then one of the guys called him over and asked him how he was.
He said fine.
Where did you meet her?
He told him the story and he laughed.
What did she study in school?
Talked about my art work and specific things I have made in the past. My Fiance was shocked that the guy already knew about some of the stuff and it wasn't in our packet. I thought it was funny.
I was told it was like talking to a friend. He told me all the americas are nice, they listen to you, laugh when things are funny, and treated him with respect. He was really happy. But he said he also understood that the moroccan woman was just doing her job.
Then after only 2 or 3 questions the guy said thank you. You can come get your visa on thurs. at 3.
We went thrus at 3 waited tell everyone got their visa and he still didn't have his. So we talked to the guy at the window. He checked his computer said you were approved. The guy went inside and came back out and said I'm sorry it a shame we didn't print it please come back tomorrow at 3. We did and he got his visa in hand. YEAH!!!!
I was happy and so was Salah.
