I had an appointment at 11:00, but already came a bit before 10. The guards checked my appointment letter, and said that should i come back 15 minutes before 11.
When i got back after a short break at the library across the street, he showed the appointment letter again, and passport, and they let me in, where i had to take everything out of the pockets, and put phone on the table, and my folder in a box.
Then i was let in to the waiting room, and was told to go to window 4, where a nice danish woman, wanted to see the documents (DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, DS-230 Part I). I also had to give them military draft board, passport, birth certificate, bank payment receipt and the co-sponsor documents.
Then i was told to sit and wait until they called me on the speaker. shortly after the danish woman at window 4 called me, and told that they had to postpone to interview 2 hours, and said i could go to the lake or to a café to get something to eat, and come back at 14:00.
I got back a bit before then, and was the only person left in the waiting room but i had to wait 20-30 minutes, and was then called in to room 5, where an american officer interviewed me. He was very nice too, and asked about the relationship, and about weddingplans. He sais everything looked fine, except one thing, they needed one document from our co-sponsors annual income, because they wasn't sure about all the income.. I got a letter saying that i was refused, but will be approved right away, when they receive the bank statements for all year in the email.
But overall a very nice visit at the embassy in Copenhagen. Nice guards, nice officers...jah nice and happy people.
