Over all it was a great experience, We arrived at about 6:15, got in line 3 and waited about 30 minutes before they started letting us in for security checks, once inside you are brought up to podium and given a folder to arrange all your documents and return it to the same podium and then wait to be called.
The first call was to window 31 to go through the paper work and my Fiance was asked some questions etc and asked for signatures and other documents we also needed the DS156K ( which we had filled out but some how forgot it ) Thankfully the provided us with a blank one and we filled it out.
Then you wait again to be called for finger prints, if you wear rings you will need to remove them the electronic finger print reader worked better after they were removed.
Then wait to be called for your interview, I was present through all the process and did not have to leave any window we went to. The questions they asked were simple and normal questions to me (USC), how do you communicate? how many times have you been married?, how many kid do you have? how did you meet? etc. they asked her similar questions and a few different ones, some about where she studied English, about my kids and how many times I was married
We did have one snafu that has delayed us, We got a 221G for My fiance's birth certificate. My fiance had a problem with her birth certificate when it was originally written and then corrected at a later date and noted at the office, we submitted the latest copy but the embassy wanted the first original version because of the change to the original so we have a date to go back June 12 but as far as we know this is all we need to submit and we will get the visa.
Over all I rate it a great experience well organized and very orderly
