Although it was disappointing that interview our interview was scheduled for more than two months in advance (in late March for May 30th) we found the experience at this embassy professional and uneventful. 8am appointment - arrived at 7:30 and took nearly 30 minutes to process into the building. Our interview was complete and we were out the door some 40 minutes later. Most questions for my Peruvian wife (who had previously held a 10-year tourist visa) were with regards to any overstays she might have had (she did not) and how long we'd been with each other full-time (years, in our case). Me having my Peruvian residency certainly helped and quickly ended that line of questioning. Our interviewer from Atlanta was more interested in how we reacted to the cursory questions than to the answers themselves. A good experience after dealing with the morons over at the NVC.
