Mt fiance did his medical exams 3 days befor his ASC appointment but was not nessecary because k1 applicants do not need to receive any vaccinations. We had the interview on may 26 at 8:15 am. He was told to get there an hour befor his appointment. When we arrived he had to check in at the sala de espera (waiting room) they check your papers and give you a paper with you passport number and instructions on how to pick up your visa after if your approved. Once he checked in he was sent to the consulate which is a building about a block from the waiting room (you can walk there with your fiance) once we arrived at the consulate I could no longer go with him so he got in a line and the employees told him which door to wait by. Once at the front of the door the employees once again check your paper work (it turns out we had the wrong DS-156 we did not have the one that leaves a space for the picture but they were nice enough to let us fill on out there and told him he had two hours to fill it out it only took us about 10 to fill out then he returned to the line) once inside he told me security inspection was strict and make sure and not take a spiked belt or one with a big buckle becasue the send you back out to take it off. He got inside around 8:30 gave his passport and papers to the man at the first window, then sat down got called to pay his fees but i had already paid them previously at around 11:00 he got called to the window (interview part) was asked 1. NAME OF FIANCEE 2. HOW OLD IS SHE 3. WHERE WAS SHE BORN 4. HOW DID YOU MEET 5.HER BIRTHDAY 6. WHY DO YOU WANT TO MARRY HER. They told him congratulations your visa has been approved javascript:emoticon(' ')!!!!Those were the questions they asked he said it took 5-10 minutes for the interview was very easy and they didnt even want to see any evidence. The whole process was easy and was not worth stressing over we spent alot of time preparing and it was easy. thats all for now we are still waiting for the visa to get sent to DHL will update when that happens.
