Just wanted to give a quick review on our AOS interview in Denver. We had a really positive experience. The interview officer we had was very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. We had to show my drivers license and social security and my husbands Drivers license as well. I had to confirm all yes or no I-485 questions out loud the ones they ask on your application. I also had to verify my full name and my husband's full name and both of our birth dates and my address and phone number. The officer did this to verify what I had put down on my application. He talked to my husband about sports for awhile breaking the ice, and asked what my husband did for a living and what I did for a living. He did not ask us for any proof of relationship although we had files of proof and did not ask to see the photos. It was over before I knew it and I was so relieved. I was green card approved and now I just wait for it in the mail which should take only 3 weeks. The only advice I can give is to prepare in advance because they could ask you for evidence at the interview but as long as your marriage is legitimate you are good! Remember they are looking for marriage fraud so a legitimate marriage is easy for them to spot. It is not worth the amount of stress I had done to myself months prior to the interview. If the marriage is legitimate and you prepare for the interview it works out fine. Overall I found it to be a positive experience!
