Was scheduled for a biometrics appointment on the 4th of May. However, due to a family emergency, I would not be in America on that date. I went to the office at 8am on Thursday morning and explained to the security guard that I would be out of the country for a month due to my family emergency. She talked to the guy in charge who allowed me to get my biometrics done (three weeks earlier than scheduled!). Walked out of there about 15 minutes later happy and relieved that I now have one less thing to worry about before I leave the country for a month.
