I had my appointment on April 1st at 9am but as we all know already it is in fact first come first served. I was there around 6:30am and I was the first one to arrive. After 7am people started to lined up. When they opened the doors at 07:30am there were so many in the line.
I got a ticket with the number 1 on it and in less than 2 min I was called to the window where they fingerprinted me and asked me for my medical and passport. He gave me the x-ray back but after he opened the x-ray package and was sure there was an x-ray disk inside with my name on it. Then he told me to go back in the waiting room. I was called again to another window 5 min later and a nice lady asked me for the birth certificates original and copy, divorce certificates original and copies, police records just the originals (she told me she doesn't need the copies), copy of my passport bio page, I-134 form and supporting documents and the letter of intent, that's it. I gave her just what she asked me and nothing more. I was told to go back in the waiting room and wait for my interview.
I waited for less than 10 min and I was called to the booth for my interview. There was a very nice blond hair lady who asked me a couple of questions:
How did we meet?
If my fiance was there with me
If I have any children
What my fiance does for living?
And then I signed a paper and after that she gave me the welcome letter Everything went so fast, I didn't even feel I was going through an interview. She made me feel very comfortable. She didn't want to see any proof of relationship or pictures. I was out of there by 8:30.
Try to have all your documents organized, be honest and you have nothing to worry about.
Hope this helps.
Thank-you VJ!!!!!!!!!
