I called my husband this morning and he was on the bus and on his way home so he said he would talk to me when he got home. He came online and he didn't look very happy so i got nervous. I asked him what happened and he said - I have another interview in 2 weeks  they need my military cert - Which he went to get 2 days before but they said it takes 10 days to get. So when he said this i just sat there. Then i asked - So they didn't do anything today??? - Then he started smiling really big and said - Well they did all the things and they didn't ask me for any papers lol and :P WOOOOOW i will get my visa in 2 weeks. So i told him he is a smart a** lol
He got to the embassy about 10am and the guy told him he is too early so he went walking around and and got coffee. He went back to wait and he went in at 12:50pm and his interview was at 1pm. He was done and left by 1:25pm.
The first woman called him to the counter and asked -
* Where he knew me from
* How he met me
* What he did for a living
* Has he been out of Egypt
* Has he been to USA before
* What does he plan to do when he gets to USA
Then she handed him some of the papers that i turned in for the visa like bank statements. She asked for 2 pics or she could use the pics with his file. She asked him if he had a photo copy of our marriage cert. and his original birth cert. They only asked for the one in arabic and not the one that we got translated. They took his passport and then gave him papers for DHL. At the DHL they took his contact info but u now don't pay until they bring you the visa.
He went to the second person which was a guy and he asked -
* Do you speak english
* How long have we been married
* Have i been married before
* What i do for a living
Which he told him that i am taking care of our daughter now so he asked to see her birth cert.
* How old i am
* Where i live
* When i came to visit him and how long
* Said my fathers name and asked who he was
* Asked what my father did for a living
My husband said between every question that the guy would look at his pc and then talk to the other ppl that work in the embassy. He think he was trying to make him nervous lol. My husband said he just took it normal like taking paper from his window and he was sooo calm but his heart was beating soooo fast. He said all that time he was just waiting to hear him say Congrats u will get ur visa in 2 weeks but he did't. He just said OK you will get ur visa in 2 weeks and that's all. My husband said that he told him thanks you sir and left really fast lol
