Arrived at the federal building at 1030. Appt. 11:00 am. We got there and immediately went to the check - in window. The agent took our I-797C, (NOA) document and told us to have a seat. (The room was packed with people. I was thinking we were going to be there all day. But, the agent came out from the little room and told us that we had to go downstairs and into another room. We walked downstairs and saw there were 8 people there waiting for their appointment. We walked to the front of the office where there was another receptionist whom took our I797C and gave it to another agent in the back. About 10 minutes go by and a candidate came out from the room and talked to his family. By the time I turned my head, it was our turn. We went in and the agent told us to have a seat. He had our entire history of documents in front of him. He said that he was there to go over our documents and to see if everything was still in order. He asked for, my Drivers License, and my wife's ID. He asked her if she spoke english, and she said not very well. And he began with a red pen in hand. He asked her, Address, had we ever lived together before?, When we met, how may children she had, how many children I had, and their ages, if they were all by the same father (her) if she had plans on bringing them here, where we last lived, Her birth date, If she had ever killed anyone, had she ever been a prostitute, what groups she belonged to, had she ever done or sold drugs, been arrested, been to prison, ( All were yes no questions ) Me, If I had ever been arrested, What for, etc... Then he said, "OK, you will be notified in the mail." then asked if we had anything additional I wanted to add to the documentation. I told him that I did, and showed him our Photo Album from the first time we met to our wedding day to now. He asked when the photos were taken, and checked to see if we were in accordance with the dates. I also gave him our Filed Taxes from 2010, and a copy of bank statement, along with our health insurance documents. He then said, "Is there anything else you wish to submit with your documents?" I told him no sir, that should be all of it, He then said "You are approved" The documentation will be in the mail, Have a great week!
