Apt. 6:45am. Arrived 6am. Checked in and sat and waited. 8:20 Fiance called up to submit his paperwork and pay the 210. Told to have a seat and someone would call him for his fingerprints. Waited another 25 mins and then completed the fingerprint scan. Waited another 20/25 mins and called for interview. Interviewed by a white American Female Age 30-40. Very serious... Asked us to raise our right hand and swear to tell the truth and then ask if we were already married. We answered no then she ask me if I speak Spanish and I told her a little but need to be interviewed in English. Then she asked my fiance if he speaks English and he said yes. At this time she asked me to have a seat and said she would interview him alone. I sat down for what seemed like forever but I guess it was really about 15 or 20 mins. Then she called me back up over the intercom. When I got back up there she told my fiance to have a seat. She asked me
1) Where and how we met
2) When exactly we got engaged and who asked who
3) Why we did not get married in DR
4) Have I met any of his family and has he met any of mine
5) The names of my brothers and sisters and if my fiance has talked to them or met them
6)If I have any children, if he has any children
7)Does he have family in the US and if so where do they live
8)Have I met any of his family in the US
9)How many times I have been to DR and on what trip did I met my fiance
10)What are our wedding plans and when do we plan to be married
11) Who will be at the wedding
12)Have I been married before, was my ex husband a citizen
Then she told me to get my fiance. I got him and we stood there as she was writing on a paper. Finally she looked up and said congratulations your visa is approved you can go pay at the Domex.
When I spoke to my fiance she had asked him the same questions. We answered all the questions the same except he messed up and said I had only met one sister when I actually had met 2 but she did not mention that we had different answers.
