Rating: | Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
This is going to be a short review, as I was not there for the interview and is based on what my wife told me...
Wife and kids got to the embassy around 6:45am and there were some people there, not many. At 7:45am sharp they were aloud inside. Once inside, the people that was going fot a CR-1 Visa got in a different line then the K-1 people... then, a very nice lady told them how to organize the documents...they have to be in a specific order. My wife and kids were the very last ones for the CR-1 interviews... they left the embassy around 11:45am
Only questions she was asked, were:
Where did we meet.
How many times have I visited her?
When did we marry?
after the last question the officer said to her with a smile " your visas are approved, congratulations"
They did not ask her for any documents or pictures, even though she took about 100 pages of documents and about 40 pictures.
She said that everybody in the Embassy was very very nice, helpfull and treated everybody with smiles and respect. My wife said that she was ver nervous at the start, but that the people in the embassy were so nice that she soon was very relaxed and joking with out kids... Needless to say, my wife and I are extremely happy with the intervew proccess/service.
