Sorry It took us so Long to post this review!!!
We arrived in Kingston about 7:45am for our 8:00am interview!!! I stood in line with my husband but I wasn't sure that I could enter the embassy with him, so I kept my bag with all the things I couldn't carry in it!!! The gaurd outside the embassy checked thepaper work and ask if I was the petitioner I replied yes and she said I could go in and wait in the courtyard and they would call me if I was needed. My MIL came along for the ride so we had step out of line and find her to hand her MY stuff to keep!!!
Once in the embassy We were taken through airport type security and We entered the courtyard... I needed to potty so I was shown where to go when I got back hubby was inside already... So I waited and Waited and Waited....during my wait I met a nice gentlemen that was waiting for his wife and he shared that he too was from Houston like me.. So the wait was not so bad!!!
Hubby came out at about around 10:45am with a big smile on his face!!! I knew that he was APPROVED...
Hubby said that when he was called to the window for his interview he placed his BIG Breifcase of EVIDENCE ON THE WINDOW SIL so that it could be seen...He was sworn in and the interview began. He told me that he was interviewed by a white american man in his early 30 these are the questions that he was asked...
1.How did u met your spouse? In the Hotel where I work. Do you still work there? Yes
2.Where did she staythe first time she came back to visit you? Sandals Grande Ocho Rios
3.What does your wife do for a living? She owns a business
4.How do you communicate? International calls, skype, and text
5.Does she have any kids, what are their age? yes he stated their ages and that the youngest was his
6.How many people were at your wedding? 35 was
7.How many times did she come to visit? Hubby did a roll call...June 09, Aug 09, Oct 09, Dec09/Jan10, March when we where married, April 10, July 10 stayed for over 1month, had the baby in Sept and did not return until Dec 10, and she is here now. Interview replied SO MANY TIMES?
8. So your wife was pregnant when you got married? Yes
9.Hasyour Wife been married before? yes and have you? No
He was NEVER asked for ANY of the evidence that I had immaculately prepared for him, LMBO... All in all everything went well...I was overly prepared for anything that came our way, I interview him with potential questions and we went throught them everyday for a week. So hubby was a lot less nervous when we arrived. My suggestion is to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
GOOD LUCK TO EACH PRESON READING THIS POST I HOPE IT HELPS... God Bless!
