First of all, the visa section is not at the 2 Avenue Saint Florentin anymore, they changed it, you have to go to the other side of the place concorde (don t remember the name of the street, but it s on the same side than Saint Florentin) where there is a whole bunch of cops.
I got into the embassy, we weren't able to take a ticket cause it didn t work, so they had to give us post it with number in it.
First window: french woman took my interview letter and ask me to wait until she called me. It was long, really long, like 2 hours of wait. Thne she called me again, and i gave her all the administrative papers (birth certificate, police record, marriage certificate), pictures (less than 6 month old), the medical enveloppe, the Chronopost enveloppe, etc.. she took my fingerprints. Then she asked me to sit down, and told me the "consul" will call me (i don t think she was the consul though, but maybe the vice consul...)
Then a woman, american, called me to another window, and start asked questions in french. then, she asked me if i spoke english, and started ask le questions in english. It was basic : how long have you been married, what are you doing for a living, what does your wife do, etc... nothing really special.
Thne she said you will get your visa in 7-10 days. Got it in 6 days.
So, interview went really smooth, but since i was last, the wait was long. Went in at 1 pm, and got out of the embassy at almost 4.30 pm.....
