I actually attended the interview with my Panamanian fiancee. In my opinion I think it made the interview and approval easier, as the question of whether we had a real relationship was pretty much eliminated when they saw me standing by her side. They actually only talked to her for about 4-5 minutes... then they asked to interview me alone and asked me the same few questions. Our answers matched and we were approved. If you have all your paper work in order and have paid all the fees, the interview is the last part which is like 10 minutes. I was a little stressed, but if everything is correct, there is nothing to worry about.
