That was not difficult. People at the embassy are quite friendly. There was a huge queue but the people who applied for K1 (there were only 2 of us) don't have to wait too long. So, my interview time was at 9am, and i came in at 9.10. Neither did i have to wait for the interview itself. In total the whole procedure lasted for about 30-40minutes. The questions that i was asked included the following:
- When did you meet?
- When did he come to see you first?
- Don't you think you have been together for too little time in order to decide to get married? (javascript:emoticon(' ') (my fiance proposed me in a month and a half after we first met)
- Where does he work?
- How is his job position called?
- Does he have any brothers/sisters?
- What are you planning to do once you are in the States?
But the question that put me at ease was "Is your fiance funny?" I said "Yes". And the consulate said that my honey smiles at every single picture javascript:emoticon(' ') At the moment he asked me this, i felt that the people who are sitting there are also human beings, so, if you tell them more about your fiance and do it with pride and admiration, you will certainly get your visa.
