sleepy in Seattle

It was cold in Montreal. My fiance came to the interview with me, we were the first ones standing at the door. some others showed up just before the doors were opened. we went through security without any problems and we were led up to the 18th or so floor of the building. We sat in a large area and waited for our name to be called it didn't seem to matter that we were there first, as the couple behind us was called up ahead of us. and then we were called, we went back down this little hall to a group of windows like you would see at a small bank. with bullet proof glass and a little pass through slot, they took my finger prints, gave us a card to go and pay for the process and then we returned to the waiting room. as we sat back down another person had shown up, she was called back almost instantly. As we waited for the next step I felt dismay at the time it was taking. the couple that showed up after us was called back again. and after about five minutes came out they had been accepted. we continued to wait and then the lady the had shown up by herself was called back...And still we waited after about five minutes she came out, I'm not sure that she was approved. After a couple of hours being there we were finaly called back for our interview. we went into a small room with a open window. and the woman that interviewed us was very nice however. Because I had spent time in Israil. I needed a police letter from the Israili consulate. I had requested one. I had given all the information to them for that perpouse, I even had a letter form the Israili Consulate telling me that they had sent it But the U.S. Consulate says they never received it. I began Hunting through my paper work franticly looking for the letter i received for them saying they had sent it but I didn't have it. My lawer didn't make sure that it was sent to the consulate. and didn''t provide me with a copy of the letter.. needless to say I was pissed. The woman that Interviewed us set up a time for us to return at 2:00 and thus give us the chance to come up with whatever paper work we could regaurding that police letter, we first contacted the lawer who said they never had it..B.S..and luckly for me I had someone I could trust who could go through my paperwork back in Toronto and fax me over a copy of the letter that my Lawer had retruned to as paperwork I didn't need. we whent back to the consulate and they wouldn't let us in the building because it was only 1:35 and our appointment time wasn't till 2:00 they told us to come back at 1:55. very strange..so we walked around Montreal for Twenty minutes. anyhow after all was said and done we were not approved because of that stupid letter..that I souldn't have needed in the first place because I wasn't in Isrial long enough for it to be required I only sought the letter just incase the U.S Consulate wanted it.
