My husband and I spent several days reviewing questions that other VJ members had experienced. He attended his interview carrying two notebooks that contained all of the proof we gathered over the past 3 years. The notebooks included sections on emails/IM, phone records, taxes, banking, medical, letters/affadavits from friends and family, pictures, visas and travel documentation from my visits, documentation noting my name change, and documents that proved my months of working in nigeria. Here are the questions that the interviewer asked.
1. Who filed the visa?
2. Where did you meet your wife?
3. What was the name of the site that we met on?
4. When did you get married?
5. When was your wife's last visit to Nigeria?
6. How long did she stay on each visit?
7. What was the position she held? (On my last visit I stayed 4 months, and worked in a school in the north. My husband joined me there)
8. Where are the wedding pictures?
9. Where are the pictures before our wedding?
10. Have either of us been married before?
11. Does either of you have children? How many? Names and ages?
12. Who is the co-sponsor? what do they do for a living? What is the address?
13. Where are the phone records?
14. Where does your wife work now? Explain duties of the job.
15. Does your wife have any brothers or sisters? Where do they live?
16. When your wife worked here in the north, how did you manage to travel there?
17. When did you propose marriage?
18. How often do we speak on the phone?
My advice to you, gather all the evidence you can think of...the more the better. Review questions that others have experienced. Pray and trust in the Lord to work all things out for the good.
