Hong Kong, China | Review on September 28, 2010: | HESTIA

The interview was pretty casual. Since our case is very strong. My fiance visited me 10 times during the past 2 years, we had a lot of photos, boarding passes to support our relationship. We both have a stable job. Everything looks very good on paper.
The important thing I would like to mention is: an organized document really helped a lot - we had a checklist, then tagged every file according to the list. I was not the first in line, but after reviewing the document, I was the first to be called having the interview. The officer was very nice and asked some common questions:
1. How did you meet?
2. When are you going to move to the States?
3. Why did he visited so many times?
4. Are you going to work after moving to the States?
5. How about your parents in China?
My interview was delayed for 2 months due to my heavy workload. I traveled a lot and did not really have time to prepare all the things and submit the forms earlier. It could be done in May. After you submit the forms, Hong Kong Consulate is very efficient and able to schedule your interview as soon as possible.
