Smooth & Easy Breezy!
He went by himself because I wasnt able to go to Costa Rica for the interview. He was nervous at first; thinking they would deny the visa for one reason or another. He went and arrived an hour early to be the first in line. He went through security and into the waiting room. He says the long part was waiting for a family of five in front of him who did not have all of the paperwork for each family member. They were not able to recieve a decision because of that and their interview was rescheduled. Then they called him to the window & he gave them the forms they requested and they filed them into the file they already had for him and he sat back down. Then after a while, another lady called him to the window and talked to him. He said it was like a normal friendly conversation, but with semi-personal questions. Sometimes she would repeat a question she had asked at the beginning, and he would always elaborate on the question. Instead of giving a simple answer to the question, he would start to tell her the story behind the answer etc. Then she had him sit back down and a gentleman called him right away for fingerprints and photo. Then he wasnt sure what else to do because no one actually told him he had been approved, and he didnt know at what point they would tell him. But the gentleman commented on one of our photos and my husband was talking to him & telling him that he hopes we are approved because its been so long and hard. And the gentleman told him "Youve already been approved! Thats why your here with me!" :D He was surprised but so happy! Then he was told he could come back in 3 days to pick up his visa! Ta-da!
