My Husband and I went for his visa interview in Abu Dhabi on May 6th. We waited about an an hour and a half for the interview. Had the interview and submitted all the papers (that only took about 30 min). Interview went fine and everything was in order. We were given our case number and told to start checking the website in about 2 weeks to see the updates. (my husband is Palestinian, I'm the citizen)
Well.. after 3 months we still had no update and our case number was STILL not even being recognized when we input it on the website. I sent an email asking why our case wasn't even being recognized and miraculously within two days it atleast showed up that it was in "Administrative Processing".
Its now been nearly 4 months and no word at all. Our kids and I are due to go ahead and move back to the States in 2 weeks and I guess my husband will be stuck in the UAE until this visa is done.  I just hope he gets its in time to see our new baby be born.
