We arrived at 06:30 outside of embassy and instructed to wait on line 3. They walked the line and reviewed our documents and told us where to wait once inside. We were given a folder with instructions of what documents to put inside. Follow the instructions, don't put in anything more than they instruct. However, have all of your extra evidence of relationship, financial support, etc., available if needed. We then went and waited for a more detailed document check as well as some questions- this was done by a Colombian. After this we went to wait in another area where we were called for the final interview which is given by an American. I, the USC petitioner was asked questions. My fiancee was not asked any questions. The American Consulate Official said you are approved! The questions are based on the paperwork which you submitted on the initial I-129F as well as the package you sent to the consulate and the DS-156/DS-156K. All took less than 3 1/2 hours. It was a good and positive experience.
