we arrived at the embassy around 6:40 am. the lady standing outside asked us what we were there for we told her for the k-1 visa. she gave us both a green sticker and told us to stand in line 3.we waited for about five mins and than they started everyone inside from line 3. they told us to stand against the wall by the bathrooms(only line # people) and than a colombian girl started talking really loud explaining how she was going to give us a brown folder to put all the paper work inside and on the left hand side was a piece a paper with the directions and order they wanted the paper work in, she explained to us that after we sit down and get all the paper work ready to stand in line again so we can show it to her and she can review it quickly because they dont want any mistakes so it can save time to the people who actually review the folder. she checked everything and sent us to go sit on the other side of the court yard by the windows number 23-33 (something like that) some were blue and the last four were green which were the ones Juan (my fiance) would get called up too. we waited for about an hour and they finally called his name to window number 31 it was an unfriendly Colombian lady i went up with him and she asked him who i was and what my name was than she started checking all the paper work. than she told us to go back to the other side of the courtyard and have a sit by windows 1-6. we waited about 45mins until he got called to window 4 for fingerprints, and now we waited some for for about another hour and they called Juan Esteban to window number 6 now we knew it was time for the interview. i went up with him also, it was an american lady she asked him who i was and he answered, she asked him when we met,and he answered than she asked to speak to me. i got on the phone and she started to speak to me in english super nice lady, asked me where i lived and when we met. those were here only two questions for me than she told me we sent a lot of edvidence and as she can see we have a lot more to show her (we took a 2inch binder w more pictures emails calling cards etc) and she said there was no need to see that because she believed in our relationship and she believed what we have is real i was speechless and i knew what that meant but she hadnt really said the words VISA APPROVED LOL so than she asked to speak with my fiance and she said the beautiful words to him VISA APRROVED YOU MAY NOW GO PAY DOMESA he told her thank you and hung up the phone we hugged and kissed and cried (especially me) jaja. it was such a weight off our shoulders. after all we were super nervous because they had the answer to our future but we thank god and all the visa journey friends that helped us through this stressful journey. the process was a long and stressful but the interview was a piece of cake
