Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Review on August 9, 2010: | WarzauWynn

US Immigration in itself is frustrating, and the consulate seems to take the brunt of my frustration when dealing with immigration. They would not answer simple questions over the phone, and told me that it takes up to 4 weeks to respond to an e-mail. Sadly, this was tested and it's true. Mail coming from this consulate to Vietnam addresses was also lost, so it's best to keep in contact with them every few weeks. It is easiest if you have somebody in Ho Chi Minh City who can go to the consulate to talk to them directly when needed.
As for he interview itself, it was not bad at all. If you have prepared what is needed to pass the interview then the interview itself isn't hard.
For the record, we succeeded with a K-1 through this consulate without ever talking to a lawyer.
