We arrived at the embassy at 6:30am and got in line. A woman gave us a folder to organize the paperwork that we needed and then we sat and waited. Sebastian was called up to the window so a woman could look over all of the paperwork and to make sure we had everything that we needed. Then Sebastian was called to have his fingerprints taken. After that it was a really long wait. Altogether we were there for about 7 hours. That was probably the worst part, but definitely worth it. The interview itself was really fast. A woman called us up to Window 5 and she asked Sebastian to sign the application form and then she asked to talk to me. She asked me two questions: How did you meet? and How many times have you been to Colombia? After answering the questions she told us that she was giving him the visa and that all of our paperwork looked great. We went and paid the visa delivery fee and then went out to celebrate. We were amazed. They didn't ask to see ANY of the supporting evidence that we brought. Although, I did frontload my K1 Petition with a lot of supporting evidence, so maybe that was enough.
