First let me say that the journey is stressfull but in the end you realize that the most important thing is to be prepared with all of your documentation and you will be just fine. Our interview experience at the Newark, NJ USCIS office was really good. Our appointment was scheduled for 9:00am and we got there around 8:15am. After going through the security, we checked in around 8:30 and sat in the waiting room. There's a couple of tv's there so I was just watching highlights of the world cup games The interviewer called my name and lead us towards his office (cubicle). As soon as we sat down he asked us for our ID's (passports) and all supporting documents regarding our marriage, certificates, pictures, bank statements and apartment lease. Just as an FYI, being organized and having copies of EVERYTHING is going to save you a lot of time and frustration at the interview. We had also made color photocopies of about 50 or so wedding pics that we submitted. After verifying our paperwork - about 10 minutes of questions about random stuff - we were approved! They didn't ask us question individually or anything, not even a single question to my wife. Just questions about how we met and background info about me. Overall, I have to say that it was a very good experience. Good luck!
