San Francisco CA Review on June 29, 2010:

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Our interviewer was respectful, professional, and thorough. The interview was ~15 minutes long and he did want to hear our story of how we met. Please make sure you have at least one document with both of your names on it. My wife does not have a SSN yet so we included a copy of our lease and our health insurance. We brought nearly 50 pictures and he kept 6. Our interviewer was most impressed with pictures from our wedding, that had both sets of our parents together (my parents came to Thailand to meet her family), and pictures with my fiance with me and my family. He asked questions such as Have you ever been arrested?, Have you ever been a prostitute?, etc. and was reading these questions from a set list...He was apologizing that he had to ask these questions and they appeared to be more formality than anything. The buildup to the interview was more difficult than the interview. Go to the interview prepared with documents listing both of your names, lots of pictures, and a smile and you should be fine.
