We got the the consulate early and waited in line. When we got the the gate they wouldn\\\'t allow me to go in with my wife. My wife told me that she gave the doctor\\\'s paperwork to the receptionist then she gave my wife a number. About an hour later my wifes number was called for biometrics (fingerprints). Another hour later her number was called again for the interview which was in Turkish. He looked through the paperwork and asked her 3 questions: My birthdate, how long we have been married, and if I was in the military.
We couldn\\\'t provide two of the documentss that he asked for, so he gave us a light green paper with the things we need to provide. He said we have been approved but we need to send the required documents with the checklist and the passport and our visa would be provided in 5 buisness days.
5 days after the required documents were sent, the green paper said we should have received our visa. I called the embassy to find out the status of our visa only to be told to send an e-mail through the embassy web site.
After a few weeks of not hearing anything about our visa we received a text message saying our visa will be delived the next day.
