Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had the interview in SF USCIS. It was a very quick experience. We brought a big binder with all our documents requested in the interview letter (originals & copies), 3 photo albums of us throughout relationship plus wedding, and folders with more secondary evidence if needed (cards, receipts, etc.) Before you go in have your ID & notice letter ready. Once inside you go through security which is like the airport security. After that we went to check in at the 2nd floor - Adjustment of Status. Then we waited on the 3rd floor for about 5-10 minutes before being called. We were interviewed by a guy. He was polite & serious at the same time. Told us to pledge we are speaking the truth, asked for our passports & DL, and then proceeded to ask questions. He asked my husband his current address, current cell phone#, birthday, and then read the criminal questions/communist questions (all answered "no" lol). After that he just asked us how we met, what my job is, what our major was (we met in University), our photos, and then said we were approved. It was easy even though I was still nervous haha. Interview time was about 10 minutes. Total time was about 25 minutes in and out.
