We had our interview on Wed. May 19th, 2010. We showed up for our appointment at 7:50 am for a 9 am appointment and got #22. We were a little bit lost at first because they were calling out numbers for tourism visas and we had a number for residence visas. We were called up to the first window at 11:00am and all our papers were in order. They only asked my wife if she had ever lived or been in the States and she said no. I did give her an updated birth certificate than stated she was married to me. We waited more and were called to our interview at 2 pm, so obviously waiting times were crazy long. The interview was less than 5 minutes!! The consular was extremely nice and said sorry for the long wait. She swore us in. She had my wife sign the application. Then she asked when we met, and when we got married. She then looked at two pictures and told us we were approved!! We were told to come back on monday at 3:30 pm to pick up her visa! We really had it easy as my wife had a clean history as well as me. So, other than an extremely long wait we could not of been happier with our consulate experience!
