Fiancee arrives at U.S. Embassy about 7:00 a.m. they let him in along with others at 7:30 a.m. He checked in. Waited to be called for about 2 1/2 hours. His name was called in by young, slim, white guy. My fiancee said he was interviewed between 20-30minutes. He was asked over 50 questions which he answered perfectly. He had over 40 pictures, emails, phone records, my passport copies, birth certificate, affidavit of support, police reports, passport photos, proof of income including W-2's, money western unions, my published book, engagement reciepts, hotel receipts, my senator's letter on his own personal letter head everything. They asked him about my education, my children's fathers, about my divorce, my father and mother, my book, my employment, where I went to college, where did the name brunell originate from, what he plans to do in america, where i went to law school, about the Judge who will be marrying us, where i was born, my birthdate, my childrens ages and birthdates and what they like to do, how often we talk, what we talk about, whhen are we getting married, how did we spend our time in ghana...etc..My fiancee said after asking many questions the consulate guy would then consult with two other consulate people one of them happened to be the freaking ambassador to the Consulate in Ghana..my fiancee recognized him from pictures on embassy website. The three of them were working together trying anything to deny my fiancee's visa. My fiancee took an oath, was finger printed, paid visa fee, his medicals, police certificate, birth certificate, affidavit of support, were all kept by the consulate..our emails and pictures were returned to him..they did not take his passport..told him he needs to return in three weeks with some document off of a website irs.gov (never told him what form he is to bring back just told him she is an attorney she can look on the site and will know what to send..like i am some kind of consulate mind reader...I sent him every thing I had from my taxes..w-2's and 1040 form and letter of self employment. Fiancee overheard while three consulates were speaking one of them said that the guy should have granted our visa today but because he already gave my fiancee a date to come back just stick to that.
Fiancee said the interviewer was nice to him and treated him with respect but seriously was looking for my fiancee to make even one mistake to deny our visa. Interviewer told me fiancee to be ready to answer more questions on the next interview. My fiancee told him no problem and told him God bless him. Interviewer also told my fiancee that he was so confident answering the questions and that he liked that about my fiancee.
Truth be told this consulate person couldn't stand the ground that my African King walks on. My king is very articulate and highly educated and his English is flawless. On top of that his is fine to look at and was dressed in brand new clothes with a fresh haircut and those beautiful pearly white teeth. He was well prepared for war and stood his ground. My thoughts this Consulate person hated on my fiancee and found any reason to delay because denial is not even an option when God favors you. God favored my fiancee today and I thank him that our visa will be ready on next interview.
One thing I do know is this..The devil was seriously busy today in that Consulate, but God's report I believe. Our next interview my king will be walking out of that Embassy with our Visa granted and God willing in hand. Delay is not a denial..by the way 180 people were denied visas today at the Consulate in Accra, Ghana
