Before i went to the interview i went to the pharmacy down the road and got my 2 photos and gave them my keys and phone to store. The staff are really nice and friendly. I got to the embassy before my 9am appointment and there were loads of people waiting in the line. Took 30 mins or more to get through security. Once in received my I number and then tried to find a sit. At this point i should have got myself a drink as i then spent the next 4 hour scared to death that i was going to miss my I number being called out as i saw about 400 N numbers, After 4 hours of trying to read a book.....my number was called, I went to window 13 (luckily didn't have time to think about that)A nice young british guy gave me an envelope with my xrays in, now i'd heard they would do this but for some reason i thought it would be a proper xray that i could see, however it is on a disc... he then asked me to produce my birth certificate and copy, police report and copy, I134 and supporting evidence. He then told me to go to window 12 to pay. I then went back to window 13 where we tried to take finger prints, well my hands were freezing and i was really thirsty so dehydrated, we had to try several times to get my fingerprints! He then told me to take the pink form, go and sit down and fill the form in and wait for my number again. After 30 more minutes i was called up to window 15 where a nice older American man, asked me a few questions, when we met, when we got engaged, where i would be living when we got there, when i was intending to fly out, He then asked me to right my fiances full name and sign the form, He then said everything looked fine and that he was going to approve the application, and said welcome to America, which i couldn't stop laughing and smiling at. So i then took my form and paid the courier, just waiting for the visa now.
