Probably the easiest part of the whole journey.
Got there just before 8am for my 8.30am appointment. Got in the right line with 3 people ahead of me, while the non-immigration line probably had about 25 people in it. When the security-guy opened the door and asked who was here for immigration-purposes I held up my hand and realised that the people ahead of me was in the wrong line, I then was the first one to go in and through the security check. When they were going through my bag they found my keys and my keychain-thing that is a little black plastic gun, they had a laugh over that and passed it around joking that they couldn't let me in with a gun on me, at that point all my nervousness dissappeared!
I then got in to the room where it all happens, I was first there, even ahead of the securityguard, he looked at me a little funny when he got in!
I was called to the first window, talked to a swedish lady for about 5 minutes, handed her my updated paperwork and was told to sit down and wait again.
Waited for aprox 20 minutes (there's no clock on the wall so it's hard to tell time!) and was then called up to a different window to talk to the CO. Also a funny guy!
First he asked me if I'v ever overstayed in the US,or if aI had been in any trouble with the law - I said NO - and then I got to sign the DS230 Part2. He asked how me and my husband met, we made some jokes, laughed, took my fingerprints, talked about my husband being a Marine, laughed some more, he explained how everything would be shipped back to me, what I should do when I got to my POE,explained ROC, and then said they were finished with me for the day and that I should go home and wait for my passport and envelope to show up!
Very very easy!
I was out by 09.13am.
